FIELD: piezoelectric engineering; piezoelectric resonators. SUBSTANCE: torsional vibrator has pin piezoid with electrodes and metal current leads in the form of strings. Current leads are disposed in holes on end surfaces of piezoids. Depth of holes is 0.01-0.1 of torsional vibration wavelength; hole longitudinal axis is aligned with torsional vibration axis. Current leads are rigidly fixed in holes and have neck-like sections carrying rigidly fixed deflecting weights. Distance between piezoid end and deflecting weight equals one fourth of vibrator operating wavelength. EFFECT: improved electrical characteristics of vibrator. 4 dwg
