FIELD: piezoelectric engineering; high-frequency crystal resonators for filters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed crystal resonator designed for operation on fundamental harmonic within frequency range of 40 to 100 MHz with improved single response and low spread in dynamic inductance and resistance is built around type NS-45 hardware and incorporates crystal component in the form of reversed mesa structure whose surface carries cross-shaped electrode coatings, one electrode being arranged along ZZ' axis and other one, along XX' axis; cross-sectional dimensions of electrode have been calculated according to single response criterion at double Δf value proportional to electrode thickness; size d of electrode projections beyond intersection point is found from expression d/h ≥ 30, where h is thickness of crystal component effective area.
EFFECT: improved design of crystal resonator.
