FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: feed grinder has feeding device, casing incorporating drum mounted on shaft and equipped with knives, and shear member. Knives are provided with slots and ridges. Shear member is also equipped with slots and ridges positioned perpendicular to cutting edge. Shear member ridges are inserted into knife slots throughout the whole width of shear member. Slots and ridges of shear member have section matching that of slots and ridges of knife. Grinder has recutter with ridges going strictly after ridges of shear member. EFFECT: improved grinding quality by providing cutting in three planes. 2 cl, 13 dwg
