FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: feed mincer has feeding and pressure conveyors, cutting drum installed on drive shaft and shear bar. Cutting drum is connected with drive shaft by ring spring with bent down ends. Springs are installed with their ring portion in cavities on drum end faces and bent down ends are fitted in slots of drive shaft. Cutting knives are hinge mounted on drum end faces for longitudinal displacement. EFFECT: reduced specific energy consumption for feed mincing, provision of protection of system from high dynamic and resonance loads, and provision of smooth running of drum. 3 dwg
