FIELD: mechanical engineering; infinitely variable gearboxes for transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: reversible infinitely variable reduction gear includes input and output mechanisms, transmission connecting these mechanisms and gear ration control unit. Input and output mechanisms are made in form of differential mechanisms; one pair of half-axle is connected by means of spur gear train and second pair is connected by means of reversible gear train. Gear ratio control unit is made in form of two gear-type hydraulic pumps; shaft of each of these pumps is connected with one half-axle of output differential mechanism. Inlet branch pipes of pumps are connected with working fluid reservoir and outlet branch pipes are also connected with working fluid reservoir through adjustable throttle valve.
