FIELD: automatic control units for liquid-propellant rocket engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed valve unit has body with two pairs of inlet and outlet pipe unions, two normally-closed spring-loaded gates with hydraulic brake and hydraulic drive. Common drive is made in form of differential piston provided with gate and two sealing bands. Gate forms three cavities together with engageable members. One cavity is filled with working medium at all times. Second cavity is constantly communicated with return line and third cavity is brought in communication with valve inlet before opening of unit through passage with seat found in movable gate. Seat in engageable with gate of differential piston in the course of opening and is constantly communicated with return line through jet found in movable gate whose diameter is lesser than diameter of passage.
