METHOD FOR CHARGING OF DEEP-HOLES WITH HYDROGENOUS EXPLOSIVES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: blasting, applicable for charging of watery blast holes with hydrogenous explosives. SUBSTANCE: method consists in forming of an isolating plug in the hole bottom part of an air-proof explosive, which prevents drilling slime from getting into the lower section of the charge, and forming of the main part of the deep-hole charge by feeding the hydrogenous explosive without lifting of the charging hose. The feature of the method consists in the order of forming of the isolating plug and the material used, for example granulotol, that is mixed with a thickened oxidizer solution by feeding the latter through the charging hose during a time period required for filling the intergranular space of granulotol. EFFECT: enhanced quality of forming of the deep-hole charge with hydrogenous explosives at a mechanized method of charging.
