FIELD: mining industry, more particularly breaking up of flooded and cracked rocks. SUBSTANCE: oxidizer solution is thickened with silicic acid, and structure-forming organic additive is introduced prior to addition of granular ammonium nitrate at silicic acid gel to additive weight ratio of 1: (0.1-0.5). In this case, thickening of oxidizer solution is finally completed at pH of 2.5-6.0 and stirring time from moment of introduction of organic additive varies from 0.5 to 3.0 hours. Organic additive is carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt or polyacrylamide. EFFECT: higher water resistance and reduced spreading along cracks of the water-containing explosive. 2 cl, 9 ex
