FIELD: agricultural production. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding hopper 1, horizontal cantilevered auger 5, extracting cylinder 2 with conical narrowing part and density adjusting mechanism made in the form of variable volume chamber of movable perforated cylinder 7, retainer for replaceable pulp charging container 12, gate, hydraulic drive and mechanism for supporting and lifting container filled with pulp. Container is made in the form of frame 16 equipped with flexible member 15 and attached to casing of movable perforated cylinder 7. Trough 13 with ribs 14, stop plate 19 and projection 18 adjoins to frame. Hydraulic cylinder 17 is adapted for moving trough 13 in conjunction with said parts thereof. Apparatus is used for dehydrating, compressing and charging of green plant mass. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced cost of works with containers damaged during charging thereof with green mass. 3 dwg
