FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves utilizing tendon of the musculus peroneus longus as working tendon and tendon of the musculus peroneus brevis as fixing one. Z-shaped stretching of Achilles tendon is preliminarily carried out in sagittal plane with the attachment place of medial portion of the tendon to the calcaneus bone being retained. The working tendon is selected in the area of the fifth metatarsal bone and fixing tendon base and then, the working one is selected all its length along to the tendon-to-muscle transition place. The working tendon is transected in the zone of its transition into plantar surface immediately after selecting the working and fixing tendons. Proximal portion of the transected working tendon is subcutaneously transposed towards the internal foot edge to the navicular bone behind the medial malleolus. Bed for receiving the working tendon is formed in the area of inferior medial edge of the navicular bone under periosteum immediately after the transposition. Next to it, proximal portion of the working tendon is fixed in the area of the formed bed, the distal one being attached to the separated fixing tendon. Achilles tendon integrity is additionally restored to build stable longitudinal and transverse vault with movement amplitude in the talocrural articulation being normalized. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
