FIELD: processes for applying coatings onto worn surfaces of machine parts, for example restoration of crank shafts of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: installation includes frame, mechanism for driving spindle mounted in frame; gun for shot blasting and spraying; gun holder; profiling apparatus in the form of spline shaft joined with crank and with spindle by means of pinion. Profiling apparatus is provided with set of gear wheels mounted in casing arranged on frame with possibility of motion along axis of part along guide and it is also provided with clutch for turning on profiling apparatus. Gun is jointly connected with cranks; spline shaft is joined with cranks through driving pinion, two driven pinions mutually joined by means of intermediate one. Driving pinion is mounted on spline shaft with possibility of motion along its axis; cranks are rigidly joined with shafts of driven pinions.
