FIELD: railway transport; signaling and communication. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, current pulses are applied to one end of track circuit and level of pulses is detected at other end. Rate of pulse rise corresponding to normal rate is preset, then actual pulse rise is measured and compared with preset value. If their values are equal, track is clear. EFFECT: improved reliability of action of track circuit owing to checking speed of voltage change across capacitor which is connected as load at relay end of circuit. 1 dwg
