END CAP FOR TECHNOLOGICAL HOLE IN HEAT INSULATION LINING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry, finishing work carried out in process of manufacture of heat insulation lining for various structures, works and articles. SUBSTANCE: end cap for technological hole in heat insulation lining has broadened part in the form of head partially placed in technological hole and rod which diameter is smaller than diameter of head positioned uniaxially to head. Head is produced from polymer thermosoftening plastic material, preferably, high-density polyethylene, has form of body of revolution narrowing in direction from rod, for example, form of truncated cone, form of sphere or part of it symmetric relative to longitudinal axis of rod. Head on side of matching with rod can have section of flat surface and has ring, preferably cylindrical part along its perimeter. On side opposite to rod head can have recess which diameter is smaller than diameter of technological hole and which depth does not exceed half-thickness of head. Diameter of head across its maximum cross-section is at least 1.2 times larger than diameter of technological hole. EFFECT: enhanced degree of sealing of technological holes in lining of various structures and articles, reduced labor input to this work and increased adaptability of end cap for manufacture. 7 cl, 2 dwg
