FIELD: building, particularly structures for parking cars, rolling-stock, aircraft, vessels, or like vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: garage has metal structure with bearing vertical supports and panels connected to supports and arranged in layers through the full garage height. Longitudinal and transversal paths for cars movement are formed on panels. Cells for cars parking are arranged along transversal paths between vertical supports from both sides of longitudinal paths. Garage has devices and mechanisms for automatic cars movement along inner paths, hoists with service platforms, carts with trays for cars transportation from garage entry to parking site and for cars storage in cells, and gates. All transversal paths are located above longitudinal ones and their crossing points are provided with mechanisms for changing cart movement direction from longitudinal to transversal or from transversal to longitudinal. Cart has device for car fixation at garage entry part. Cells of different layers have different heights and lengths exceeding corresponding car dimensions, wherein cars are arranged more than in one row from each side of longitudinal path.
EFFECT: increased safety and reliability, reduced operational costs and extended range of application.
