FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of hydraulic observation holes in regions of storage of halite wastes in salt dumps and argillaceous slimes with brines in slime storages. Hole filters are installed at underground water horizon and at the second from surface underground water horizon. Holes are located in plan in immediate vicinity of salt dumps and slime stages in regions of underground water salinization, and also over flow in region of background concentration of chemical components. Then regime observations are carried out of hydrodynamic parameters of underground, waters flow and variation of their chemical composition and mineralization. Obtained data are used for determination of boundaries of extension of underground water salinization; and prognoses are made of salinization of given zone. EFFECT: monitoring of environment conditions in zone of active water exchange occurring under influence of storing of halite wastes and argillaceous-salt slimes on land surface. 3 cl
