METHOD OF OPERATION OF WELL PUMPING UNIT AT WELL COMPLETION AND WELL PUMPING UNIT FOR METHOD EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2189504 C1

FIELD: pumping technique; well pumping units for oil recovery. SUBSTANCE: method includes running the jet pump into well by means of logging cable into interior of tubing string together with geophysical instrument located below pump. Pump is mounted in support located on tubular string and provided with bypass ports for discharge of medium from under-packer zone of well. Located blow support are tubing string disconnector, check valve of packer and perforator. Running-in the pump and placing it in support shall be performed after packer releasing. Geophysical instrument is fitted above check valve and required drawdown is created by feeding the ejecting medium into pump nozzle; drawdown is read-off by geophysical instrument on surface. Then, explosion of perforator is done at simultaneous pumping-out of formation fluid through filter and check valve. Upon attaining stable delivery of fluid, delivery of ejecting medium to pump nozzle is discontinued and instrument and pump are withdrawn from well by means of logic cable. Check valve closes thus excluding penetration of liquid from space above check valve into under-packer zone which is likely to cause contamination of near-well zone. Blocking insert having through longitudinal passage is thrown into inner cavity of tubing string for shutting-off bypass ports of support and separating tubing annulus and its inner cavity. Delivery of light-weight fluid or inert gas through circulating valve from tubing string annuls to inner cavity of tubing string reduces hydstatic pressure above check valve, thus placing the well in flowing mode. After exhaust of formation energy, blocking insert is withdrawn and jet pump is run into well together with geophysical or autonomous instrument, after which formation fluid is pumped out at different preset levels of drawdown. Then, well production rate is notes and graph of well production rate versus drawdown is plotted for determination of standard size of pump for positive operation of well. Pump with instrument is withdrawn on surface, upper part of tubing string is disconnected by means of disconnector and is withdrawn on surface. Check valve admits no fluid from well into under-packer zone. Then pump is run into well by tubing string for positive production of oil and is connected to lower part of tubing string, after which well is placed in operation by positive method.
