FIELD: technical cybernetics, namely, identification of linear dynamic objects with random stationary or non-stationary inlet action. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of measuring values of inlet/outlet signals of object; calculating structural functions of signal; smoothing values of structural functions by means of low-frequency filter; approximating by means of continued fraction models of structural functions of inlet/outlet signals and determining with use of received models stability of each signal; stabilizing inlet/outlet non-stationary signals by means of difference conversions; supplying values of inlet/outlet signals to identifier of continued fraction of predicting model of identified objet and for determining according to such model values of outlet signal of identified object. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of object identification. 10 dwg
