FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: signal analysis method is carried out using continued C-fractions by measuring the signal at equally-spaced out time intervals. The signal is transmitted from the analysed signal sensor of a control device to unit 1 - continued C-fraction identifier, in which signal values x(k) are processed using a formula: until the stopping rule is satisfied, where α-1(n)=δ(n) is a Dirac delta function, α0(n)=x(n) is the signal measurement, m=1,2,3,…, n=0,1,2,…, with subsequent reconstruction of the predictive signal model in form of hidden periodicity.
EFFECT: simple and faster signal analysis, diagnosis, monitoring and control.
