FIELD: electrical engineering; protection of electrical appliances, including tubular electric heaters, against overheating under abnormal conditions. SUBSTANCE: thermoswitch of first alternative has power leads connected to contact tubes through movable telescopic joints at forces minimum over 50 N and below elastic force of temperature sensor. Joints between power leads and contact tubes have longitudinal ducts through which spaces confined by inner surfaces of contact tubes, end surfaces of power leads, and temperature sensor communicate with surrounding atmosphere. To this end holes covered with power leads on inner side of contact tubes and set open during partial draw-out of power leads may be made in contact-tube walls. Thermoswitch of second alternative has its power leads made of several wires. EFFECT: reduced in-process troubles and operating time, enlarged functional capabilities. 10 cl, 10 dwg
