FIELD: agriculture, in particular, viniculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneously preparing cuttings for rooting and fruit bearing on maternal bushes during bud swelling phase; providing banding and making upper cut on buds before swelling thereof, with upper cut site being set after determining maximum fruit bearing capacity by microscoping or providing germination of buds. Bud germination is performed so that two upper buds are within this site. If fruit-bearing coefficient of two upper buds is at least 1.0, banding is provided in several sites of bud. EFFECT: increased fruit-bearing capacity and yield of cuttings, enhanced rooting activity during driving out of plants on protected ground. 2 cl
