FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out computer tomography examination of the distal femur segment, measuring distance between femur condyles at the entrance into the intercondylar fossa and fossa height, their absolute value ratio is determined. The ratio being less than 1.0, eventual injury of the anterior cruciform ligament of the knee joint is predicted. The value being found to be greater than 1.0, the anterior cruciform ligament injury is predicted as not probable. EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis. 4 dwg
