FIELD: plastic working of metals. SUBSTANCE: stand has monolith housing with two parallel cylindrical bores incorporating drive shafts of cantilevered banded rolls. Shafts are mounted on bearing supports in eccentric bushings provided with worm gear for rotation thereof. Each shaft is equipped with axial retaining and adjusting mechanism, with outer diameter D(b) and inner diameter d(b) of eccentric bushing and diameter d(sh) of shaft part upstream of annular projection being determined from formulas: D(b)=D(n)-S; d(b)= D(n)- 2t(av) and d(sh)=0.62-0.55 d(b), where D(n) nominal diameter of working rolls; S is bushing spacing; t(av) is average thickness of eccentric bushing wall. Mill stand of such construction is used for manufacture of small section rolled products. EFFECT: simplified construction of mounting and attachment unit for band and of radial adjustment mechanism, increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
