FIELD: sealing of vessels. SUBSTANCE: proposed chuck has body on which clamp is mounted for pressing cap to vessel neck, and tool block with ring providing with forming surface enclosing vessel neck with clearance. Outer surface of tool block is enclosed by bell-shaped part mounted on shaft of clamp by means of spherical bearing with possibility of cocking relative to body axis. Two rigid stops and spring- loaded stop-pusher engaging through thrust bearing with end face of bell-shaped part are mounted on end face of body pointed to thrust bearing. EFFECT: improved quality of sealing, simplified design of chucks, enlarged functional capabilities. 3 cl, 3 dwg
