FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of methanol from methane. Method involves preliminary saturation of the parent raw and its heating using a gas condensate, mixing a mixture with oxygen in a mixer in the ratio steam : gas = 2.3-2.54, steam-oxygen conversion of methane using a nickel- containing catalyst, removal of carbon dioxide by a single-stage washing out with monoethanolamine an aqueous solution, drying the reaction mixture and feeding in a shelved synthesizing column with the by-step by-passing using a copper- -containing catalyst. Usually the preliminary saturation is carried out to a volume ratio steam : gas = 0.58-0.62 and as a rule temperature of gaseous condensate using in saturation and heating a steam-gas mixture is maintained in the range 160-176 C. Temperature of a steam-gaseous mixture feeding into a mixer is maintained in the range 260-354 C and pressure in the range 1.5-1.83 MPa. Washing out is carried out up to preparing functional value f = 2.01-2.34 and compression is carried out up to the pressure value maintenance in the column inlet in the range 7.35-8.57 MPa and temperature in the synthesizing column is maintained in the range 215-280 C. Method ensures to prolong working time of catalysts, diminish technological and energetic consumptions and retain high conversion level and quality of methanol synthesized.
