FIELD: chemical industry, particularly, production of methanol of carbon raw materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves steam-oxygen conversion of carbon raw materials, isolation of portion of carbon dioxide from converted gas and synthesis of methanol by using carbon and hydrogen oxides. Origin raw materials are preliminary saturated till volume ratio of steam and gas is 0.4-0.7. Temperature of steam-gas mixture at input of converter is 260-300 C, conversion is carried out at 2.0 MPa, volume ratio of steam and gas being 2.2-2.8. Removement of carbon dioxide takes place by single-step washing with the help of monoethanol amine solution till factorial f is 2.05-2.2. The process is followed by drying and by compression of reaction mixture to pressure 8.5-9.5 MPa. Thus obtained mixture is fed to the stage of synthesis. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method.
