FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in a two-stage steam-oxygen conversion of natural gas, which comprises purifying a hydrocarbon feedstock from the sulfur compounds, evaporation condensate in the saturator saturating the natural gas with steam, additional mixing natural gas with steam to form a gas mixture, the first step conversion in the tubular reactor, a second stage of conversion in the converter and a stepped shaft furnace heat recovery converted gas. A part of the low-potential heat of the converted gas entering methanol synthesis is withdrawn by means of a heat pump to vaporize the gas condensate at a temperature of 215-220°C for the production of process steam with a pressure of 2.1-2.3 MPa.
EFFECT: reduction of raw material usage ratios refrigerant and external energy to produce methanol due to deeper processing steam and use low-grade heat converted gas for process steam for the purpose of reforming of natural gas.
