FIELD: geophysical methods of examination. SUBSTANCE: acoustic signal corresponding to time of arrival of longitudinal wave from first geophone according to recording time are recorded in measurement points. Kinematic corrections equal to times of arrival of this signal are entered into paths of phase-correlation diagrams. Then time intervals containing longitudinal or lateral waves are isolated along last quasi-linear axis of phase coincidence of longitudinal wave on phase-correlation diagram comprising sequence of signals from first geophone according to recording time. Interval containing lateral wave is isolated in section directly following last quasi-linear axis of phase coincidence of longitudinal wave. Later isolated intervals of paths are separately correlated with corresponding paths of phase-correlation diagram comprising signals from second geophone according to recording time. Positions of extreme values of local pulses on obtained correlograms determine time intervals of propagation of waves for all measurement points. EFFECT: enlarged body of seismic information extracted from recording of complicated mutually interfering packages of different types of waves. 5 dwg
