FIELD: electrical engineering; cable terminals. SUBSTANCE: connecting cable primarily designed for use in geophysical and submersible equipment for attachment and connection of downhole instruments to power supply has wires inside metal casing, two power connectors at its ends, and sealed cable lug; metal casing is built of at least two electrically isolated parts; both power connectors are placed in shrouds for their axial displacement; shrouds are spring-loaded and locked in position to prevent their axial turn. Cable of optimal design form has metal case built of two parts joined together by means of metal bushing covered with insulating material on outer surface. Wires are spirally arranged inside shrouds. Cable lug has elastic collar with conical projections of same quantity as that of wires, flexible and insulating washers. Metal bushing is electrically insulated and sealed relative to metal casing.
