FIELD: well drilling and operation, particularly to connect power source to power consumer, namely to downhole instrument.

SUBSTANCE: connector comprises generator shaft and downhole instrument case connected with each other. Bush, thrust washer, rigid insulated washer, resilient sleeve shaped as truncated cone are concentrically arranged inside the shaft. The resilient sleeve is provided with conical extensions made in the first ends thereof. Number of extensions is equal to number of electric cables. Split bush is installed downstream of the thrust washer. The split bush includes two halves and inner and outer annular ledges. Inner annular ledge of split bush passes into electrical socket groove. Outer bush pressed with nut abuts upon outer annular ledge. Electric generator shaft passes into downhole instrument case and is sealed with respect thereto. Screw may be installed in split bush gap and groove at electric socket end. The screw provides electric socket direction in electric generator shaft in circumferential direction. Screw may be also installed in electric generator shaft to retain electric socket in electric generator shaft as screw passes in split bush gap. Electric generator shaft may be sealed with respect to downhole instrument by means of O-rings having round cross-sections. Pin adapted to provide angular orientation of components to be connected may be installed between electric generator axis and downhole instrument case.

EFFECT: increased reliability of air-tight seal under high environment pressure and increased ability of connector assemblage.
