FIELD: methods of cleaning filter housings; cleaning filters whose filtering members are secured on intermediate bottom separating filtrate chamber from sediment chamber. SUBSTANCE: such filter is provided with cleaning unit made in form of ring with nozzles and flow deflector which makes it possible to direct cleaning liquid onto lower wall of intermediate bottom and/or upper zone of sediment chamber wall at such deflection of flow which ensures flowing of sediment off sediment chamber wall in form of closed cleaning film.
