FIELD: mechanical engineering; arc welding. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, deturbulizing conical bushings are installed in shielding gas supply channel of torch. First bushings has taper angle 2β₁ = 20^°-40^°. Second and third bushings have taper angles 2β₂ = 16^° for outer wall and 2β₃ = 12^° - for inner wall and form symmetrical ring cylindrical channel of diffuser type. Total length of deturbulizing bushings is not less than L=3D. EFFECT: reduced consumption of shielding gas, improved gas shielding. 2 dwg
