FIELD: repair of armored equipment under field conditions by troop repair forces. SUBSTANCE: method consists in removal of road wheel and pressing-off of torsion bar from balancer to be dismantled. Pressing-off of bush with balancer is effected by swinging the road wheel of similar suspension of opposite side by means of crow-bar at relief of its torsion bar due to slacking tension of track of opposite side and disconnecting track sections under road wheel placed above pit; initial angle of torsion bar setting is stored through measurement of distance between road wheel body and lower part of track branch. EFFECT: simplified and reliable method of dismantling tank balancer without disassembly of similar unit of opposite side. 1 dwg
