FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: antifriction composite material comprises a reinforcing component as at least one layer of needle-punching or canvas-broaching non-woven cloth made of a mixture of synthetic and cotton fibers or at least one layer of woven cloth made of synthetic and cotton threads, thermoreactive binding agent, graphite and it comprises additionally molybdenum disulfide and metallic powder in the following ratio of components, wt.%: reinforcing component, 20.0-85.0; thermoreactive binding agent, 10.0-60.0; graphite, 0.5-15.0; molybdenum disulfide, 0.1-10.0; metallic powder, 1.0-15.0. Invention ensures to make an antifriction composite material with high resistance to impact loadings, high resistance against separating and to temperature stress also and can be used as material for plain bearing shell.
