FIELD: antifriction materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention provides polymeric antifriction composite material for various-destination bearings and sleeve bearings. Material is composed of, wt %: fibrous filler 38-70, powder filler 1.5-9.8, release agent 0.1-0.9, adhesive 2.4-11.6, and binding material 25-47, the latter being phenol-formaldehyde and/or cresol-formaldehyde resin in novolac and/or resol form. Aforesaid fibrous filler is a blend of polyoxadiazole fiber and cotton fiber, the former being in the form of net, felt, fabric, thread, chopped thread, chopped cloth with serge, web, or reps interlacing, and the latter being in the form of thread, chopped thread, net, felt, fabric, or chopped fabric with serge, web, or reps interlacing. Length of chopped thread of polyoxadiazole and cotton fibers is selected between 3 and 40 mm, and area of chopped fabric pieces derived from polyoxadiazole and cotton fibers is selected between 0.6 and 16 cm2. Aforesaid powder filler contains graphite ,alumina, silica, molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide, or antimony disulfide, and additionally contains polyvinylacetate and/or polyvinylbutyral as binder and zinc stearate and/or calcium stearate as release agent. Such composition results in prolonged service time of friction units owing to lowered summary wear in friction pair due to steel, reduced intensity of linear wear, increased resistance against stratification, and increased compaction strength and impact toughness with dynamic friction coefficient in friction pair preserved.
