FIELD: mechanical engineering; various sliding supports.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sliding support may be made in form of solid bush or split bush consisting of segments or in form of solid ring or half-ring, disk or plate. Working sliding friction surface is made from polymer anti-friction composite material which contains thermosetting binder, fibrous filler and powder filler; 30-45 mass-% of fibrous filler made from polymer anti-friction composite material is located in disorder and 55-70 mass-% of fibrous filler is located perpendicularly or at angle of 60-89° relative to working sliding friction surface. Proposed sliding support makes it possible to increase service life due to reduced intensity of linear wear both of material of support and material of contra-part made from steel, cast-iron, bronze, etc.
EFFECT: increased service life; increased micro-hardness; reduced dynamic friction coefficient in friction pair at retained impact viscosity and resistance to lamination.
