FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: one should take 2.0-0.25 ml biological liquid supplemented with 0.05-0.4 ml concentrated hydrochloric acid. Then it should be heated in boiling water bath and cooled at 0 C. Then 0.05-0.4 ml concentrated alkali is added for shaking. One extract portion is put into a hole, evaporated at above 40 C, dry residue is supplemented with a color-forming reagent - 10%-m-dinitrobenzole solution in pyridine and 4N alkali, placed into a thermostat at 45 C for 25-40 min, then pyridine:ethylacetate mixture is added into a hole at 1:1 ratio and photometry is conducted. EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy in determining 17-ketosteroids. 1 cl, 3 ex
