FIELD: physicochemical methods. SUBSTANCE: method is distinguished by combining distillation with effects of concentration-capillary convection governed by thermal action of light in liquid films of mixtures and motion of "abnormal" drop after light beam. Such procedure is applicable in analytical chemistry, medical industry, chemistry of toxic and radioactive substances, and spatial material science when it is necessary to separate binary mixtures into fractions within closed spaces and to dispense concentrated fractions without opening vessel. EFFECT: increased degree of safety in operations with toxic and radioactive materials due to enabled separation of microvolumes of liquid mixtures, dispensing of isolated components, their displacement into specified place, and total separation from the mixture using contactless procedures. 4 dwg, 2 ex
