FIELD: aviation; helicopter rescue equipment; emergency water landing in case of operation of helicopter above water surface. SUBSTANCE: helicopter is provided with two pairs of front and rear inflatable floats with envelopes made from elastic fabric; floats are divided into hermetic compartments; helicopter is also provided with compressed gas system and radio altimeter. Ballonets of front floats are secured underneath in nose fuselage and those of rear floats are mounted on main undercarriage units by means of framework closed by cover. Compressed gas system includes high-pressure bottles with charging- relieving units which are connected with compartments of envelope by means of pipe lines. Control members of charging-relieving units are electrically connected with control panel mounted in pilot s cabin; control panel is connected with float inflation switch. EFFECT: possibility of performing control of inflation, monitoring serviceability of compressed gas system; simplified construction of removal of cover from floats; reduced inflation time; improved service characteristics of emergency water landing system. 19 cl, 8 dwg
