REAR COMPARTMENT OF HELICOPTER FUSELAGE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: aviation; construction of helicopters. SUBSTANCE: rear compartment of helicopter fuselage has pair of doors closing the aperture of cargo cabin; right-hand door has hatch with cover mounted inside fuselage resting against inner side of door through tubular seal. Secured in center part of cover is circular membrane with holes in its wall where locking pins are located; pivot axle with handles is located in center of membrane; handles are mounted on ends of axle on either side of cover; they are kinematically linked with pins. Mounted in base of cover are two immovable pins locking the cover. Hatch may be used for emergency escape from helicopter, as well as for additional landing of persons, loading and unloading the cargoes. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities. 9 cl, 5 dwg
