FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: cathodic electrolyzer has wall, bottom, ribs extending along longitudinal sides, rigidity members extending along end sides, and flange sheet, and is further provided with horizontal box-shaped rigidity belt making support for flange sheet. Rigidity belt is extending along perimeter of housing above ends of ribs and rigidity members. Housing wall defines one side of rigidity belt. The latter is made from metal strips, with strips of longitudinal and transverse sides being connected in lock joint and welded one to another. Flange sheet is connected to housing by detachable joint. EFFECT: increased efficiency and prolonged service life of housing. 3 cl, 4 dwg
