FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary piston engine has housing with epitrochoidal working chamber, trihedral rotor, load shaft and mechanism converting rotary transportation motion of rotor into shaft rotation. According to invention, converting mechanism is essentially crank installed coaxially in rotor and arranged eccentrically relative to cup enclosing shaft whose cylindrical surface is surrounded by closed elliptic slot of semiround section. Semiround slots made on generating surface of cup hole are designed for joining by means of balls with shaft elliptic slot. Radii of shaft and crank are related as 2 to 3, and eccentricity is equal to half of shaft radius. EFFECT: simplified design of engine. 1 dwg
