FIELD: radio metering methods for leak inspection of pressurized-water reactor plants. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of gamma-radiation exposure dose in any layer of full- flow ion-exchange filter of condensate polishing unit and evaluation of primary coolant leakage to secondary circuit . Method that ensures leakage evaluation sensitivity higher by an order of magnitude compared with prior art is implemented by using Russian-made mass-produced radiation monitoring units. Information on leakage in steam generator is conveyed not only during full-power operation of nuclear power plant but also upon reactor shutdown. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and selfdescriptiveness of steam-generator leak inspection. 2 cl, 4 dwg
