FIELD: heat power industry, nuclear power engineering, return of steam generators and other heat engineering equipment back to service by methods of chemical washing. SUBSTANCE: process of steam generator washing includes supply of solution of chelating agent with additive into steam generator during reactor shut-down cooling and washing of heat-exchange surface with keeping of solution in steam generator in specified ranges of temperature, pH and endurance time with subsequent injection of oxidizer. Solution of ehtylenediaminetetracetic acid with addition of ammonium acetate with mass proportion of components 1:0,7±0,05 correspondingly is utilized in the capacity of scrub solution. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of chemical washing of steam generator and prolonged service life of it. 5 cl, 5 tbl
