FIELD: subways. SUBSTANCE: water accumulated in tunnel and heated to 18-20 C is used as working medium that stores thermal energy of air heated due to train movement through tunnel. Thermal energy is extracted from water by means of heat pump and used for heating inner spaces; water cooled down by heat pump serves for cooling down air circulating in cubicle accommodating power transformer whose exhaust heat is taken off. Water from transformer cubicle heated to 20-25 C is mixed up with tunnel water in regenerative tank and used to enhance effectiveness of thermal energy extraction by heat pump. Excess-heat storage system is provided to supply additional heat in case inner space heating energy demand rises. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat extraction from hot air inside tunnels and from power transformer. 5 cl, 1 dwg
