FIELD: veterinary science, animal science. SUBSTANCE: method studies and evaluates cattle families according to their resistance to leucosis, brucellosis, tuberculosis and prenatal mortality. Based upon the studying conducted one should detect cattle families resistant to several diseases from which the cows are taken to reproduce their own herds. The best cows with high performance favor to obtain breeding bulls. Then raising of disease-resistant families should be stopped. The method enables to increase cattle resistance to leucosis, brucellosis, tuberculosis and prenatal mortality. EFFECT: higher performance of cattle. 2 tbl
