SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Genetic determinism of cows to disease resistance by leukemia is evaluated by results of DNA testing of the BoLA DRB3 gene by the presence in the genotype of alleles of resistance to leukemia 1801 and 0601, which are specific genetic markers of resistance to leukemia virus.
EFFECT: invention provides more effective assessment of resistance to leukemia of cows of black-and-motley breed and selection of animals having genetic predisposition to resistance to this disease.
