FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for assessment of cattle resistance to leukaemia consists in blood sampling and examining for physiological values with forming a group of clinically healthy animals, assaying activity of acid phosphatase, deriving its average value for this group of animals, comparing the value of acid phosphatase of each animal to the related average value for a specific group of animals, and if observing decreasing activity of acid phosphatase with respect to its average value, stating the animal's body to be resistant to leukaemia. If deriving the acid phosphatase values comparable with the average value for the given group of animals, lipid metabolism values are additionally explored: lipase, triglycerides and very low density lipoproteins to calculate their average values for the same group of animals, to compare lipase, triglycerides and very low density lipoproteins to the related average values, and if simultaneously observing decreasing these values with respect to the related average values, the animal's body is considered to be susceptible to leukaemia, while the values being equal to or exceeding the average values show resistant animals.

EFFECT: more effective and accurate method.
