FIELD: mechanical engineering; different branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric welding facilities. Internal combustion engine 2 is mechanically coupled with three-phase ac generator 1 furnished with three-phase ac rectifier. One lead of three-phase rectifier is connected to electrode holder, and other lead, to welding table. Converter 9 contains isolation transformer 11. Magneto 3 has output to which engine shutdown switch 7 is connected and diodes switch 8 connected to converter 9 which is connected to field winding of three-phase generator 1 to which voltage or current regulator 10 is connected. Converter 9 has one output through which it is connected to voltage or current regulator 10. Moreover, converter 9 has outputs one of which is connected to field winding and others, to voltage or current regulator 10. EFFECT: simplified design, possibility for use in the field with provision of high quality of welding. 3 cl, 2 dwg
