FIELD: mechanical engineering; repair of machine elements; restoration of holes of connecting-rod big ends for inserts of crankshafts of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in application of polymer composition containing anaerobic sealant ANATERM-6B and fillers on surfaces of holes and molding it by means of rod mounted on supports; used as fillers in composition are: aluminum powder, furnace black and bronze powder at the following relationship of components, parts by mass: anaerobic sealant ANATERM-6B, 99 to 101; aluminum powder, 150 to 156; furnace black, 17.5 to 19 and bronze powder, 0.5 to 1; surface of rolling rod is coated with anti-score lubricant with aluminum additive.
