FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, outer supporting railing is made flexible and, for adjusting the width, it is disconnected from straight-line railings by opening locking device and pulling the railing outside or, as alternative, pushing it inside into desired position and locking in the position. Inner railing is made in form of plate curved to suit curvature of curvilinear section of conveyor, plate being secured by screw with possibility of releasing and reciprocating and possibility of adjusting or setting to required width by means of wings which are secured on plate and released by at least one locking screw. Device for adjusting width between two supporting railings arranged along curvilinear section of conveyor has locking devices installed by one at each side of curvilinear section of conveyor in which outer flexible supporting railing and rectilinear supporting railings and inner supporting railing are secured. Inner supporting railing is essentially supporting plate installed for reciprocating relative to central point of curvilinear section and furnished with wings arranged to provide possibility of adjusting supporting plate in width. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved reliability of device. 7 cl, 11 dwg
